Yes. People who've been secure doesn't understand the anguish and depression. Unemployment alone broke me. I can't imagine what people who are homeless and without family/societal support are going through.

The Democrats that capitulated on the shutdown have proven one thing. If Republicans make things painful enough for ordinary Americans, Democrats will cave to lessen the pain. This will only embolden Trump and Republicans to cause more anguish to get their way.

The standards I've come to admire are so contrasted against my actual actions, plus the fact a combination of my comfort, social anxiety & general lack of life skills prevents me from changing as much as I'd like, I end up with piles of regret, disappointment & anguish

The only good i find in my chronic pain is my ability and freedom to take it out on my characters. Unfortunately, I no longer have Nadia to kick around (for now)... but Vaż is perpetually feeling the pain of dying in her decaying bodies and idk that seems like a fun vehicle to express my anguish.
