Like ogres. Did you know that Gwen, even in her weakened state, solos a giant robot named Arthur, despite the robot being modeled after what is presumably the fiction antagonist of the Guinevere franchise.
And given how he's designed, Arthur is both a generic knight and an Ansem stand-in.

btw another beautiful thing about birth by sleep is i think it cements even further this very interesting parallel between sora and xehanort/terra-xehanort/ansem etc. this exponential fracturing of the self into many different parts and identities. xehanort and terra to the point they wont be whole

Listened to some clips of Graven (Riku's VA) talking about his work on KH1.
He mentioned that for KH1's Riku-Ansem lines he recorded all of those before Billy Zane so he was able to set the general tone/vibe that would have to be matched which is neat.

Along this line: Because the Ansem/Riku lines were combined in post, I would love to know which of the two (Wayne or Dollip) were doing the live improv for each respective scene.
Did they switch who took the lead at any point? And was the cast aware of that eventual audio edit when doing it live?

How much of this dub involved recording later? I know something like the opening scene dollip mentioned was recorded after the dub, and I assume the Ansem/Riku lines involved some form of ADR? But was there anything else you needed to retake/add in post?

The final room before Ansem I beat in like… 2 minutes at level 85
… struggled for 2 hours unsuccessfully at level 50.
