119 years ago today, the #AntiquitiesAct became law, and since then, 18 presidents have used it to protect places like the Grand Canyon, Bears Ears & the Statue of Liberty.

New UT Rep. Celeste Maloy wants to repeal the #AntiquitiesAct. It’s a wonky thing that may bore the shit out of people, but it matters.

Doing away with the #AntiquitiesAct would make it next to impossible to conserve public lands — and make it easier to fence people out and privatize public lands.
