I joined a few subs this year to repopulate my front page.

By far, r/toddlers has been my most visited sub. The mouse story (alt text) was my favourite show for a week.

A recap slide showing the title of a post I viewed multiple times: "Do we give the mouse back?" Cryptic! The story: a kid chucked his mouse toy at the grocery store, and lost it under a shelf. The parent/OP wanted this to be a lesson about not throwing, but not a scarring one. They found the mouse but didn't immediately tell the kid, and they were struggling with whether or how to return it. The kid was TRAGICALLY sad, and had definitely learned his lesson. Thanks to the guidance of the community, the parents had the mouse "return" to the kid next time he was in the store - a little scared from his adventure under the shelf, but glad to be home. We kept checking for updates to make sure he got his mouse 🥹
