Collagraphie de Belkis Ayón. Cette technique, à mi-chemin entre la gravure et le collage, donne des œuvres en noir, blanc et nuances infinies de gris. Ici, un personnage central, la déesse Sikan, est représenté à l'état de silhouette aux grands yeux noirs. Sikan est couverte d'épines, à moins qu'elle n'en soit transpercée. Autour d'elle, des ombres, des feuillages et son double, qui semble l'attraper par les pieds pour la tirer hors de l'œuvre. Il s'en dégage une impression inquiétante, de mystère et de magie.
