#BritBox
Maybe Acorn or BritBox? Both offer heaps of British crime dramas. Or so I’m told. 😜

Britbox stopped carrying BBCQT last April 2024, and I wonder why? BBC told me it was licensing, but I really miss seeing British politics and the reception that Reform candidates received from the audience.

They can all get the WaPo treatment.

Cancelling all the fascist networks, and enjoying BritBox and Acorn.

There's a show that I watch on Amazon prime, it may be through BritBox called "the change "

A woman keeps track her unpaid labor in her marriage and when she goes through menopause she takes a vacation so she can spend some of that time on herself, accidentally starting a revolution

Very curious about how this particular survey answer translates into future programming decisions.

Britbox sat on ITV Hub architecture, in spite of BBC involvement. Tsk. iPlayer would be far superior, just ask S4C.
Anyway, @stuartkenny.bsky.social has suggested STV Player, hopefully that'll be less shite.

Get Acorn. Nobody does crime quite like the Scandinavians. Acorn is chockablock with European drama. It’s better than BritBox, imo.

Has the quality improved? I've never subscribed due to their BritBox downscaled quality.

Now would be a good time for CBC Gem to upgrade to 4K and high-quality Dolby Atmos sound subscriptions.

I have tons of movies, but they only take me so far, I need a real book in my hands & don't by from large corporations.
I'm m interested in more than just movies.
Hence, PBS & Passport. Other cultures, hence again, Britbox with the other two.

In the US, you can see it on BritBox; I didn't find it Python-level funny, but I'm still a sucker for items from the family tree.

Checking out #CelebrityTraitorsUK for the first time & for those who watch BritBox & other shows like Ted Lasso, you’ll recognize some well-known faces. Looks like it could be fun

One of the few things Britbox was good for, as well as a lot of the other Python adjacent shows.

Not sure how early in the series it is but there is a scene where Trisha casually uses racist language to Benny in a perfectly conversational context; could easily be edited out although it was included when the series was on BritBox. All the episodes carried the usual trigger warnings
