I see this as mostly determined by choice of advisor? I can predict accurately how a paper will land at *ACL, but we needed lots of advice from friends to have any chance at CSCW.

We need to go full tilt to protect foundational knowledge in CS/CHI/CSCW:

- Lifetime ACM ban for all authors that use Gen AI in any form
- Demerit system for orgs affiliated with Gen AI users; N pts means X years of desk reject

CV inflation is out of hand and there needs to be real consequences.

We highlight how trans data can be used to build new data collection, analysis, and communication systems that serve trans liberation and help reorient researchers to the deep political commitments of data for and about trans people. And also there are implications for data advocacy + CSCW research!

As part of my research at @oii.ox.ac.uk under the supervision of @rocher.lc and @computermacgyver.bsky.social, I built a language model to help human rights analysts crowdsource reports of gun violence.
