A strange noise startled him, and it took Kakavasha a few moments to realise that it was him; it was his own strangled moan, echoing from the empty walls. He blushed and moved his hand, only to cup the marble cheek and lean forward to rest his forehead against the statue's locks.

“Mother Goddess, what am I doing…?” He whispered into the darkness. His heart was threatening to leap out of his chest, desire and embarrassment fighting for domination in his mind.
