It plays off a "book" or a series of cards folded in a continuous loop.
The perforations dictates the pipes & drums. The moving parts at the bottom are bellows that generate the wind pressure for the pipes. 😃

My other "problem" is lately my retail therapy has been buying some large posters, which also require more walls if I'm going to display instead of having a collection of cardboard tubes. So I'm at war with myself. I do a lot more digital reading/listening, but there are certain tomes I want HERE.

i hoard and repurpose cardboard boxes and also find a lot of my mailers/supplies from thrift stores so my larger packages can be a little chaotic but the goal isn't for them to look nice, just to keep the contents safe and if i've achieved that then i'm satisfied with what i'm doing lol

as far as i know, fixing stuff only costs regular fish, though fixing stuff gets pretty expensive. i think the cat tree and the big cardboard train are like 200-300 regular fish a piece
