Just because Bovino is leaving doesn't mean the kidnapping operations stop. There were at least 200 people abducted off the streets of Los Angeles & Southern California in the past 2 weeks. (data compiled from verified community alerts & field reports, the true number is definitely higher.)

Lower Decks once again does the yeoman's work plugging plot holes created by Voyager. Its S4 finale features Nick Locarno, who manipulates people into joining "Nova Fleet," because he's a pathetic lowlife who peaked in college

In the face of the Texas class...Cali class shows up strong. Cerritos, Oakland, Alhambra, San Diego, San Clemente, Sherman Oaks, Vacaville, Burbank, Fresno, Santa Monica, San Jose, Sacramento, Culver City, Redding, Eureka, Merced, Carlsbad, Inglewood...and I presume Long Beach and many others.

the whole appeal of the Cerritos is that it's a "low level" ship. the whole appeal of Discovery is that it's a mushroom riding ship etc etc. the fact that they're Not the Enterprise (or try to be) is one of the best things about them bc it gives them character & makes the universe feel bigger
I will forever bang the drum in Star Trek that no, we in fact do NOT need to fill in ever last hole left after VOY or even ENT (bc Paramount is not interested in DS9 and I won't pretend it is) and it would be Cool, Actually ™ to tell new stories about new casts & new ships beside the Enterprise
i think hardcore "fans" types have a hard time with finality or maybe implications being left as just that instead of a clear cut answer. i see folks come out of stories demanding a finite answer when it's like, that kinda defeats the purpose, no ?
