Glazebury WWTW Culcheth, several chiffchaffs on the beds, inc. the bird in the photos which looks like tristis to me, though happy to hear opinions. There was definitely a tristis calling in the area but I just couldn't be sure that it was the bird in the photos #RareBirdsUK #CheshireBirding

Finished off the wild goose chase with the local oddball, potentially a Cackling x Canada Goose that's been around a while, at Burleydam. 6.5 species of geese in north Shropshire/south Cheshire ain't bad #shropshirebirding #cheshirebirding

There have been few gulls around locally so far this year but local farmer started ploughing maize stubble y’day. Heavy rain here and looking out bedroom window saw a few gulls congregating on field behind house. Checked them out & found this winter plumaged Med Gull! #ukbirding #cheshirebirding
