Chrysala was alone in her apartment, dressed in naught but her lacy shirt and panties as she chopped some popotoes in the kitchen. It was a quiet night, the rain pattering her window outside and for once things were... calm. Noli and Morgi were out on a date together, so Chrys decided to take the night to herself. Unfortunately, she heard an all too familiar swirl from her dining room. She took a breath and prepared herself. "So, civilized society long since invented these things called doors." She announced without even turning around. Not that she needed to, since she already knew who it was and did not bother to hide her annoyance. "Still inconvenient." came the reply, in a comforting voice with a sarcastic tone. It pissed Chrys off to no end. "But you know why I'm here. I've been watching you." "I know you have." Chrys retorted, cutting him off. "And by the way, that's fucking creepy. At least let my partners have some privacy, even if you won't let me go." "As if I care for anyone but you. Seems we have that in common at least. You have a new partner, do you plan to trust this one or will you hurt them too?" The man's words got to Chrys, causing her to grip the knife tighter and consider throwing it at him, but she already knew how that would go from the last time she tried. She sighed and relaxed her grip, turning to glare at him. "Why the hell should I tell you? You've done nothing but hurt everyone I've ever loved. I was so much happier before you came around, and that's including watching my entire family going up in flames, screaming the whole time." Now that she glanced over at him, she could see his face and he didn't let anything show. A pitty, she'd love to see him hurt for once, but nothing ever phased him. She still looked him over, looking the same as he always did. An average looking vierra man with lavender purple hair, round glasses, and a purple heavy coat that obscured the toned body she knew he had underneath. She snapped out of it when he spoke again. "Scathing. Do you treat everyone you claimed to love like this or am I just that special to you?" "You were, once. But most people have the common courtesy to leave me the FUCK ALONE when we split... so go away. Let me be happy for once." Chrys glared at him, her eyes beginning to well up a little. The man crossed his arms, shifting his weight to his back foot as he cocked his head a little bit. "Can you be? You're the one who keeps pushing people away. I'll change the question for you. That woman you're seeing. Do you trust her? Or are you once again going to push her away so you don't get hurt?" Chrys sighed, she already knew this is what he was going to come interrogate her about. They had done this countless times, with everyone she had met, so she knew it was only a matter of time. The question was one she asked herself already, and she knew better than to lie to him. He'd know. He always does. "I... love her. A lot. I don't want to lose her." "That wasn't the question." Of fucking course he saw through it. "I... Don't. You know I don't trust anyone. They always leave... by choice or death." The vierra sighed, closing his eyes and adjusting his glasses. When he opened them again, his expression was softer, kind even. His deep pink eyes were ones Chrys could get lost in, but she hated him for this. She had never seen him angry. Either disappointed or loving. It's infuriating. "You think she may choose to leave you? Because we both saw that death won't stop her." He stated simply, the earlier malice completely gone. "Why would she stay? I'm just some random girl... she's the warrior of light's wife. I'm just-" "A person. And that is WHY you deserve love, Chrysala. I love you, this woman obviously loves you, so when will you love you?" Chrys' hands were shaking at his words, but he was right, he's always fucking right, that smarmy son of a bitch. She stayed silent, so he continued. "If you trust people, you might get hurt. But if you push people away... You WILL get hurt. Don't reject her like you did me. Most people won't still be on your side after." He then raised his hand and snapped his fingers, the shadows in the room enveloping him in an audible whirl before suddenly he was gone without a trace. After a long and pregnant pause, Chrys could only muster a few words. "Fuck you, Trystan..." Despite this, she still mulled over his words. She originally asked Noli and Morgi to go alone so she didn't feel like a third wheel, but what Trystan said was true... she was trying to put distance between them. She sighed, taking out her tomestone and texting to Noli. "Hey, is it too late to come join you both?"

He was gone, and if she didn't act, so too would everyone else. (2/4) With a mad dash towards Anre, Miri crouched down to grab the sword, her mind wishing there was another way but her body knowing this was all she could do. Those eyes, once willed with kindness for her were blackend with hate and hunger. (3/4) Miri raised the blade, tears in her eyes as she tried to fend off the approaching monster, but he wouldn't stop. With one last look into her father's manic eyes, Miri whispered an apology before thrusting the blade forward. (4/4) In a mere moment that lasted a lifetime, Altair watched from afar as his father met his end at the hands of his own sister. Terrified, he tried to run but his body refused.

Chrysala felt herself be at peace, the question of why the dragon had kissed her still on her mind. She already had her way, yet she showed a form of affection before taking her life? Was it a cruel mockery? her thoughts were interrupted by someone else's. [I said that you will not die without my permission.] It wasn't Rhys, nor was it even a voice. She just had the words show in her mind, yet she still felt like she knew who it was. [That is your punishment.] Revak... She remembered with some shame, realizing that the words were not him reaching out to her but her memory of the true events of the first time she had died. It was when she started to notice the feeling of returning to the surface of the void that she wondered if he had meant he would keep bringing her back, not just that one time. She could faintly hear Infernya's speech as her wounds began to repair themselves and she could feel a dull throbbing from her neck. She slowly opened her eyes and found herself... In a bed, with the dragon and her wife sitting next to the bed and looking over her.

He was too weak to move, too weak to speak, and he could not warn his father of the creature that now set its sights on him. He could only watch in horror as the succubus grabbed hold of his father and slowly dissipated into mist and entered his father's body. As both children watched in horror, soon their father ceased his fight, silently standing back upright. "Dad...?" came the silent voice of Miri, clearly terrified and unaware of the current events. (3/4) Hearing the sound of another's voice, the now possessed Anre glared at his daughter, a sight his children had never seen before. (4/4) It only took Miri a moment to realize something was wrong. This was not her father, and she was in grave danger. Thoughts raced through her head, but her body was sluggish from the heat as that... thing turned to face her.

She looks to be Auri at first glance, but her horns are on top of her head, and where a normal auri's horns would be she had a pair of scaled elven ears. By the feeling of her presence and the way the light seems to just fade around her, it is clear that she is a very strong creature of the darkness.

It didn;t take Chrys long to realize even with her newfound dark powers, she was no match for an actual dragon. Accepting defeat, she sighed and lifted her chin in submission, prompting the dragon to release her grasp around her neck. "I guess... I'm your prize... Use my body as you wish." She said, expecting to soon feel the cold embrace of death once more as she closed her eyes. She did not expect to feel the dragon's claws trace down her chest, tearing through her clothes to expose her to the victor of their battle. She opened her eyes and looked up to the dragon, still fearful but nodding, realizing she wanted her to continue. Chrys felt nervous, but once she felt the dragon's shaft press against her nethers, she begged for it. they shared a few moments of passion and Chrys started to recognize a look in her new partner's eyes that wasn't just lust. Once the dragon had been satisfied, Chrys found herself breathing heavily and closing her eyes, only faintly aware of feeling the dragon's lips against her own, the small kisses down to her neck, then the sharp pain of fangs and sudden, comforting darkness.

Losing consciousness, he was faintly aware of the succubus leaving him to look for a new host, and could hear the footsteps of someone armored approaching.
