I'm thankful that the thinktank I'm part of just started tracking 11 forms of activism on Jan 1st in a weekly national survey.

We want to understand what brings communities together, and intentional actions towards a better future is part of that.

We actually track this kind of stuff in a weekly national survey -- givingpulse.givingtuesday.org -- and then compare that to trends on one's sense of belonging, trust, and good intentions. The combination of factors is an index we call #civicIntent.
