"Counterintelligence specialists with deep expertise in countries like China, Russia, and Iran are now regularly working immigration cases." It's a bonanza for America's real enemies.

“It’s a disaster,” says Robert Anderson, the head of FBI counterintelligence from 2012 to 2014. “I’m rooting for everybody because we’re all Americans, [but] Patel needs to wake up.”

Under Kash Patel, the FBI's counterintelligence capacity is being systematically deconstructed and downgraded. There must be a reason for that. But here two real experts take a deep look at where things stand and where they're going.

When I’m done writing my book I may take a crack at a “corruption is a first-order counterintelligence threat” story.

And US spies know it: CIA has used rampant corruption in places like China in the past to go on recruiting sprees. Mutatis mutandis.

Determining who is a conscious agent of influence and who is simply a useful idiot is a counterintelligence question, and thus a political decision. But it's notable that since the former became illegal in the UK (NSA 2023), some previously vociferous pro-Russian figures have stayed quiet or abroad.

Harriet Tubman was an inspiration for those working in intelligence & counterintelligence. She was the first American woman to lead armed raids, mapping territory as an advanced scout, and ran rescue missions taking people through the Underground Railroad.

One of America’s first master spies.
Harriet Tubman was [made] disabled—

meaning an enslaver hit her on the head with a pipe when she was a teenager so she suffered migraines, fainting, and visions (or 'hallucinations') for the rest of her life.

Which makes what she did that much more remarkable.
Harriet Tubman’s Disability and Why it Matters

The lesson of Ukraine's incredible drone assault was 'put your strategic aircraft inside hangars when you're not using them.'

Now just imagining what Ukraine would do with a full carrier group if they could...
In awe at this. Need to breach a layered air defense? Just infiltrate a bunch of simple suicide drones in shipping containers using painstaking intelligence work and have them arranged to be driven by each search radar and fire control radar and SAM launch site and ground control center. So simple!
