Google's crawler for search and Gemini training sees 3.2 times more web data than OpenAI's crawler and even more than Microsoft and others, according to Cloudflare's Matthew Price revealing the new stat at @wired.com's #WIREDBigInterview event.

He chalks that up to why Gemini is improving.

Oh hey Carcass Crawler 6 is out! I wrote a bunch of stuff in here including a mini puzzle-dungeon called "The Tavern of Elemental Evil." Multiple play test groups called it "Pokemon-like." Cover art by @jacobfleming.bsky.social. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

incredibly clever game designer: Daylight Dave has to be balanced around how he gets automatic critical hits in sunlight

the game: a dungeon crawler where all dungeons are underground set in a world of perpetual night

#hobbystreak 1255 finished the Plagueburst Crawler! And I did some drybrushing on the Tervigon base. I deviated from my typical base drybrush colors, if only for a little variety, and to help the sack not blend in with the base. My scheme does kinda fall apart if the gooey bits are bottom loaded.

Crypt master is faking amazing. It’s such a great take on the dungeon crawler genre with an amazing art style and nearly flawless writing. And the voice acting is just sooo hecking good.
All these studios adding AI chatbots in their games, meanwhile we made a better one two years ago with Cryptmaster without using a speck of AI. Just smart writing and good voice acting 😎

Due to a stressful week, I missed this anniversary. Looking at my timeline, I don’t think anyone really has fond memories of the game, which is not unexpected.

Still, there is something here that hints at an intriguing unexplored path for Goemon. Maybe an interesting rogue-lite/dungeon crawler.

December 4 is probably one of the darkest episodes in the Ganbare Goemon franchise. Ganbare Goemon~Kurofune-tō no Nazo~was released on December 4, 1997. It was released 4 months later worldwide, in April 1998, as Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.

Not familiar with Dungeon Crawler Carl or why people yell “NEW ACHIEVEMENT!” like it’s a religion? Consider this your spoiler-free starter sample: And no, you don’t have to watch these videos to enjoy the series. You can listen on Audible or read the books.

Investigating bot traffic on SC Wiki has been interesting. There is a bot that requests, several times a minute, the Soulcalibur VI frame data drilldown page. Coming from China, pretending to be a Meta crawler and disrespecting robots.txt. Which chinese AI needs to know this?

These kids soft AF. They don't know nothing about waking up early and watching the local news to see the the crawler at the bottom of the screen to see if your school was closed or on delay. 😭😭
They cancel school for anything these days. These kids today would have hated going to school back in the day because they didn’t give af 😂😂😂😂 the weather conditions were insane they were still talking about 2 hr delay. Shit had to crazyyyyy for school to be cancelled.

The D20 is an ok game engine for a dungeon crawler where life is cheap, which is the one thing basically nobody uses D&D for. It's garbage for heroic fantasy or any of the social games people staple onto it.

Isometric polycule dungeon crawler, they call that Jizzardry
December 5, 2025 at 5:15 PM
it isn't simply a technical issue of people looking for a combat dungeon crawler to do things it's poorly suited to. it's also that a system without boundaries draws people like this in
