I'm looking for any controlled vocabularies, thesauri, usage guides related to disability studies, especially for library cataloging purposes. I found this language guide from the National Center on Disability and Journalism. Others?

I'm new to this, appreciate all suggestions! #critcat #critlib

what's actually being discussed is more like "acculturation into the socially dominant ways of thinking"?

I remember putting potato gifs in a lightning talk as an easter egg at the critlib unconference as a joke. But yes I think we should actually do this.

...how we should handle future challenges that may be less clear cut. Two questions for my library colleagues:
1) do you have a process for how you handle it when users point out potentially offensive material on your catalogue? Is it published? How did you decide it? 2/? #critlib 📚

somehow I've been pushed into considering a #critlib #critarch #histbook article from the point of view of the show @harlotsonhulu by @archiviststan 🤔

the fact that I'm now making a list of sources I know I can cite probably does not bode well for my future huh
