Unlike Apple, Google has always made it relatively easy for users to install Android apps from sources other than the company's official app store. But recently the company announced that it will block installation of apps that come from unverified developers - basically developers who are unwilling or unable to verify their identity with Google for one reason or another.

I cannot explain, but for some reason, I draft all my journal reviews in Notepad (and am grateful it autosaves sessions). Not 365. Not Word. Not WordPad. Notepad. Sometimes, I crossdevice mid-review with Google Keep.

Any other good academic quirks out there?

These are the status icons I get when content has not been downloaded to my laptop compared with a green tick for items that have been downloaded but CrossDevice folder doesn't show in OneDrive sync settings as not in OneDrive folder🤷

Beware the relatively new Windows 11 CrossDevice service/functionality. I was searching file contents recursively from %userprofile% & noticed OneDrive personal downloading a lot of files unexpectedly. Seems ~/CrossDevice has added itself to OneDrive so searching downloads files!
