For similar experiments, we do see some instrumental variation (difference individual fluorophore resolution due lasers/detector setups) but percentages tend to be comparable. Looking up the CytoFlex and Celesta online, the laser configurations are similar enough I wouldn't expect much difference😣

Thank you for replying!! Average the control MFI obtained with both cytometers (cytoflex and BD Celesta)? Because both cytometers give me very different values.. i understand that, but fold change should be similar (and its not 🥲 #cytometry

In case anyone was wondering what the peristaltic tubing (left - cover removed) or sheath damper (right - clear thing with ~1/3 liquid; the liquid is supposed to be there) of a CytoFLEX LX looks like.
