I just started reading this book last night by Davif P. Gushee "Changing Our Mind"about him changing his mind about the LGBTQ community.
This is probably what I regret the most about how I used to be as an evangelical.I'd argue with people on this issue.They just want to be themselves, that's all.

Knew him only through his writing, but wept reading this recent piece. He had a passion for well done work, and maybe that's why his heart lay with so much of the past century, rather than the scammy present. He deserved fortunes, but didn't get even a year more with Lynch's mysteries.

How good he was at finding faces that clearly feel things and have humanity, like Harry Dean or Laura Dern or Robert Forster. How funny but left-field powerful his little roles are in The Fabelmans or even Louie. How astonishing he was at sound design, how The Straight Story (also about death) is the greatest G-rated movie ever made, the value of stillness and repetition and having a routine you do every day, all these things, but I won’t. He’s my favorite filmmaker and I’ll get better thinking about it as I get older. I’ll just say this: at the memorial today, the sky was finally blue and it was a beautiful sunny day in Los Angeles.

Well, Michael and Anna have apparently an apartment in London sice two years? in the same neighborhood as Davif. At least I remember Georgia posting something about that and the kids going to school in London. Which kind of makes sense, since Michael was busy with Nye and co. in London last year.
