Was so comfy and cozy snuggled on the sofa, wrapped in my blanket with a hot water bottle and giant mug of tea; ended up watching a crafting video to soothe my brain. Really tempted to stay there and drift off but managed to decamp to my (chilly) bed.

Labeled bc body horror and gore and shit again. Obviously, Phyrexia is a huge magnet for this kinda thing and art-style drift has just made it easier to pick out and probably more extreme.
Phyresis Outbreak (illlus. Matthew G. Lewis) This dude is getting turned into a meat machine, and it's not pretty. Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut (illus. kutay) So, I've said before that I don't really like the manga style arts for all these showcases, but this view right down the rogue leveler's "maw" is an excellent perspective. This is probably better suited to a showcase than for the card's main illustration. Razorverge Thicket (illus. Jokubas Uogintas) Yet another cycle of five full-art dual lands as a showcase for this set. This time we are seeing the Scars of Mirrodin lands again in much different art, now that Phyrexia has fully taken over. Ghalma, the Shaper (illus. PINDURSKI) Okay but seriously, why did they not put her card in any of the sets, since she seems to come up in the background of Mirrodin a lot. Instead she's relegated to an Alchemy (read: online-only and uses mechanics not available in paper) set. I'm not a big fan of this choice.

i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.
