Imagine being Susie and your new best friends are an amalgam of two personalities each fighting for different weird goals you aren't aware of, and someone who's been exposed to eldritch knowledge and is scared to speak in case they say something they think will drive you mad or make you hate them
Kris is duplicitous and Ralsei is still hiding stuff, but considering the web of trauma undercurrent across every character involved, I don't think that either of them is ill motivated to do what they're doing

Even if it really upsets me that Susie is the one that's gonna have to deal with this

Most visitors to Autzen Stadium must feel an inferiority complex, but going into an event tent postgame to dissect how they don't measure up has to drive home the inadequacy.

Just look at how much land all those interchanges take. It's an underused highway and even fully subsidized by the NS taxpayers whether they drive or not.

Went to Indianapolis this weekend, which was fine and all, but I think I say this every time a drive through it, but outside of the Mountain states, I'm not sure there's a prettier landlocked state to drive through than Kentucky. The rolling hills, the land, the trees were at peak color. Awesome.

The day that was. Later start. Cafe coffee. FaceTime call with colleagues. Work (WFH). Lunch. More work. Read RSS. Fall down Wayback Machine rabbit holes. Two hour walk. Supermarket. Tea. Pack car. Drive to Sydney NSW. Unpack car. Nightcap. Write this. To come: lights out #OnlineJournal

I've been reading cozy British romance novels, and just now realized I've been imagining every driver on the left side of the car and having everyone drive on the right side of the road

This isn’t new. The richer they are, the bigger the gates protecting their property, the higher floor for their apartment, a garage they can drive in/out w/o interacting or seeing “common folk.” They distance themselves from the masses to avoid any residual guilt for not using their money for good.

I have federal jury duty starting tomorrow. I'm having someone drop me off so the standing order banning cell phones actually makes my life more complicated.

at the very least, they should actually accommodate jurors who didn't drive themselves to the courthouse.

On Wednesday, November 19 during the WPRB Fall Silent Membership Drive...THE NIGHT IS YOUNG RETURNS!

Three hours of covers, premieres, tributes, mash-ups and perhaps select originals added for good measure.

No repeats from past shows!

Long may Neil run.

all physical media has, in practice, an expiration date on it, so in the end you will have to have digital backups regardless if you want to actually own it indefinitely

I don't even use my physical discs for the Xbox/360 any more, it's just way more practical to fire up whatever off the hard drive

Just a little slow, but fine enough as a city car. Though I don't drive in the city anyways...suburban car?

I loved Convictor Drive when I played a two-shot of it! It's got some really innovative mechanics and the emotional tenor of using trauma to power your suits hits hard. Would highly recommend!
