An Fan made design of Godzilla Some mixed elements from 1954, GMK and probably some living reptiles idk. I mostly made this after Re-watching 1954 and GMk, two of my favourite Godzilla movies. A more plausible Godzilla. In sorry if the pictures are blurry I took them all from my phone. My old Reconstruction of a daspletosaurus, I used skull reference and such. And I added some muscle on the neck so it's more like a living animal.

Daspletosaurus torosus, a type species of its genus, from the Late Cretaceous (Campanian) of Alberta, Canada. The holotype was found in the Oldman Formation in 1921. Daspletosaurus had relatively long forelimbs for a tyrannosaurid and quite massive build.

Tangentially, this is very likely a homage to Pauls Tarbo vs Therizino, which I stumbled upon in a dinosaur fact book, that had several illustrations by Sibbick and Paul interchanged. It had other Paul goodies like Syntarsus v Massospondylus, Daspletosaurus in the snow, and Megalosaurus in rain

The primordial gloom of Sovák's work was positively captivating to me and cemented him as one of my favourite dinosaur artists.
A Yangchuanosaurus tears into the carcass, holding a raggid strip of flesh in its jaws, a glint of light shining from one of its teeth. Behind, the hazy evening sky is streaked by wispy clouds. In a barren, stony valley, a robustly built Daspletosaurus with a charcoal-coloured skin pattern lunges at a young Chasmosaurus, which wheels away in a cloud of dust.

An expert on theropods, he described various new species, including Daspletosaurus. He was amongst the 1st scientists to consider an extraterrestrial cause - an asteroid impact - for the extinction of the dinosaurs...

The theropod row was reorganized in the process, and now is visible from multiple sides. Wendiceratops has joined this group, along with Daspletosaurus and Centrosaurus skulls. The ichthyosaur wall has also been moved.

A magnified view of the serrations. The hook-shaped denticles on the distal carinae is a distinct characteristic that distinguishes these saurornitholestines from the contemporary dromaeosaurid, Dromaeosaurus albertensis, as well as young tyrannosaurs individuals of Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus.

The plaster jackets used to transport this tyrannosaur to Alberta’s Royal Tyrrell were labeled MR Daspleto, for Milk River Daspletosaurus, and obviously paleontologists couldn’t resist the nickname.

Its my birthday today! For this special occasion, I present some Cyberbeasts illustrations. Three of the four are updated designs to be lore accurate while the fourth is new for the series. I hope to eventually write about these guys in the future. #oc #art #creaturedesign #dinosaurs
Glace the cryotyrannus. You know him, you love him. Given that his species of blue and silver cybernetic tyrannosaur is the mascot, not much was changed aside from making the design more proportionate by taking more aspects from daspletosaurus. Rosa the stegoflorus. This is the first time I made Rosa look cybernetic. I thought it would be difficult but surprisingly it wasn’t. Despite how the marker color came out, she’s still supposed to be bright green with brown stripes and red eyes. Funnily enough, I actually based her body structure here on a kentrosaurus rather than stegosaurus. Pyra the inferno lion. This one was a bit tricky. While I was to get the orange and gold aspects of her color scheme in the right places, the difficulty came from the fur. Trying to depict fur on a cybernetic lion is not easy. Luckily, I was able a look that was faithful to the character. Saber the thunder-tooth tiger. Meet the newcomer to the series. For those who don’t know, Saber was an old character from an old story of mine. Of course while Tyrannos and Leonne were easily updated for Cyberbeasts, Saber was difficult to the point where he needed an overhaul. For one thing, he had to be more in line with the design language. So I based them on smilodon. Secondly, I made this Saber part of the next generation of characters. Thirdly, I wanted to keep some aspects of the original. So I kept the electric green base color while adding yellow to the stripes, spikes, and blades. The result is a cybernetic big cat with some mean saber fangs and blades to back them up.
