On this day in 1988, after 1-1 draws in the first 2 games of the season in Div 2, Barnsley led Stoke City thanks to a Steve Agnew goal when David Currie kicked the ball away into the crowd, got a 2nd yellow & was sent off. The Reds saw out the final mins though to win 1-0. #BarnsleyFC #DavidCurrie
