Over the weekend before she even started reading but I told her what it was she had us get out the dry erase mat to run some dungeons, which led to Goblin Adventure. We’ll probably use it to run Dragontown soon.

Got Dragontown from @jpcoovert.bsky.social hoping it would help rekindle my daughter’s interest in dungeon games and I’m happy to report its working. She’s sitting on the couch now flipping through and looking and asking questions about the pictures and what’s going on.

In the Windsong Wood we saved a pack of wolves and and found a geyser spewing Darkness. A giant snail is trying to contain it with cleansing slime trails. Its shell decays when the geyser explodes dark ooze. Another day in @jpcoovert.bsky.social‘s #Dragontown.

It’s been a rough couple weeks. But I did find a some respite in my #DragonTown campaign. Tonight a character ran in fear further down into the crypt, only to get surrounded by zombies that he doesn’t know about yet. I love how #dnd can provide a break from harsh realities!

Today in my #DragonTown #dnd game: the catapult failed so the party just fought the Alleycats anyway. Now they don’t know how to get over the castle walls to find the dragon hoard they believe is on the other side!

I remember seeing him live for the Dragontown tour. I was expecting it to be entirely/mostly old rockers but there was a surprising amount of hoodie clad nu-metal kids there too.

Tonight in my #DragonTown #dnd session: the party betrayed the thieves they were working with by sabotaging the catapult…before they got into the castle. Now they don’t have an easy way to the treasure!

Today’s #DragonTown the party entered the abandoned Sub Rosa inn. Inside, surfaces are covered in sticky residue. The basement stinks of putrid fruit. Valoran Cleric Boldbeacon greets them in the chamber. “The child will be beautiful. Our gift from God.”
