Making Cal a warlock as part of dragoon lore. Choosing Midgardsormr as her draconic patron transformed her and gave her life. Her story unfurled itself before my very eyes, and it is still my favorite thing about her. Everything she became started with that beautiful little tidbit.

Calathea is currently married to G'raha in her WoL canon, though it was mostly due to the events in the Myths of the Realm raid. Cal & Ludo aren't married in their AUs because they either aren't interested in marriage or they both bite the dust.

Honestly all of these. The fact that she's mostly my old D&D cleric mixed with the Hulk/Jekyll and Hyde threw me for a fucking loop. I was like, "...Oh. Well shit, she basically IS the Hulk, isn't she?"

Calathea doesn't really get jealous; she gets TERRITORIAL. Very few things make her jealous, but if she starts seeing this display of the imbalance as a threat (overly affectionate displays of attention, lording over wealth, boasting, etc.) she will intervene and start growling.

If you ignore the giant alien dragon soul wrappers around hers (which is very terrifying because Ross was supposed to MONITOR the alien monstrosity, not become one), Calathea is much meaner than Eos ever was. She's vicious and hot-tempered, where Eos was always sweet.
