7. Philosophical Synthesis
Kuroda’s annotations, though philological on the surface, enact a speculative synthesis:
Ontology: Eternal vs. temporal being.
Epistemology: Seeing vs. blindness, mythic knowledge vs. modern skepticism.

"At stake [...] is not simply the use of new tools, but the redefinition of education through a datafied epistemology that prioritises visibility and calculability over dialogue and experience." Insightful new paper on data-driven classrooms by @lulushi.bsky.social doi.org/10.1080/1743...
Making education manageable: school management systems and the discursive construction of data-driven classrooms
This study investigates the growing influence of school management systems in U.K. schools, focusing on how these tools discursively conceptualise core aspects of classroom education. Through a dis...

No. I don't think standing up against racism and gender stereotypes is "another tick in the con box".

You're so twisted with your identitarian epistemology that you're saying facially absurd shit in order to defend your weird-ass racist comment.

Rather be racist than admit you did the wrong thing.

It was my first time teaching epistemology. The phd program director said "I thought of you to teach this class because it seemed like something you would enjoy" and I took that as the highest compliment.

I used this dam removal as a discussion point during the Indigenous Ways of Knowing class for epistemology last year. Excited for this update!

Whole conversation we need to have about the presentation of white naivety, why it's allowed, how it fits into the epistemology of ignorance for whiteness, and the paradoxical position of white people being seen as experts but some how innocent and naive of all this history.

The ideal is to maintain individuality of epistemology while also allowing individuals to spontaneously cohere and decohere.

Isolation fails, and also purely encouraging entirely unified coherence fails.

No.

It is just as insane and immoral to refuse to critize someone based on their immutable characteristics as it is to criticize them for it.

That is insane far left identity epistemology and it’s embarrassing for you to even suggest it.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I love to do square one epistemology about whether words and symbols actually mean anything within minutes of something bad happening to My Guy. This is my time to shine!

Not Chinese characters, not “words” (however defined), not the output of a stopwatch measuring someone silently reading in a room—none of these things is “foundational.” #coherentism #epistemology #TeamDaiyu #Deleuze #井

At the heart of gender ideology is a confusion of ontology and epistemology. What sexes exists and how can we know an organisms sex. Problems with the latter are deemed to be problems with the former. Simple stupidity.

I don't know. I've never had atheists ring my door bell asking if I want to discuss the works of Kant or Russell on epistemology.

in everyday terms, i think it's called improving your "literacy."
formally, it's (probably) epistemology, skepticism, or critical thinking
