Recently I have a few thoughts about EventStorming. Can we get more value from it's output?

I always loved the idea of taking an image of a EventStorm and generating an EventCatalog....

Here is what I found, with a working example, if anyone is interested

Can you get more value from your EventStorming workshops? I think you can....
So you finished an EventStorming session, you have 100s of post-it notes. What's next? In this blog post I explore an experiment of turning EventStorming into EventCatalog using MCP.

Especially when we get into the collaborative modeling with EventStorming and context mapping.

The main thing we cover on day one is that you really need all those different perspectives in the design. User research, user and service design, UI design, business analysis – the lot. 2/4

EventStorming -tyylisellä tavalla niitä firmoissa suunnitellaan: github.com/mariuszgil/a...

so it would be: 1) domain team + domain experts iterate through the model (EventStorming and code), 2) when stable domain team add tests and packages it in an API, 3) app dev team takes over, develop infra dependencies and deploys, 4) domain team + domain experts tackle next module/process

For me it’s always about the feedback loop. On EventStorming result, it’s not always visible the data flow, information messages contain. When we start to define that in code, it’s a kind of reality check.

For me, EventStorming reflects business flow, which not always should be 1:1 to technical.

In Sadukie's session, you’ll learn how EventStorming has helped teams uncover the real scope of a project, reconstruct the logic behind legacy features, facilitate stakeholder conversations, and challenge questionable architectural assumptions.

So, if your current collaborative modeling tool like EventStorming, Example Mapping, Domain Storytelling or any other feels like it's creating more problems than it solves, it's time to ask some tough questions. Are your tools actually helping, or are they just adding to the noise? 5/6
