I hope history is not kind to tRump and his goon squad. They are all dangerously embarrassing and knot.z racists. Unethical morons without feelings. We should convince extwit to build an orbital loony bin and give all of these psychopaths a free one way trip.

I suppose so. But as with extwit, or anything else, I normally only bother if I'm subscribing to something I oppose, not bothered since I'm just continuing to wordle for free and not having anything to do with the NYT itself.

I'm not on threads, due to never having insta or fb and not really wanting to (and I get in a muddle being in the three or four places atm, extwit and here and mastodon a bit and on the Guardian as always. But we'll see)

Those trolls that Elmo allows to run rampant on his site is why I came here and deleted the extwit app. Nasty threatening trolls were getting worse every day. Plus the election propaganda he added and his own trolls that were just singing his praises. He turned it into an evil dark place .

I liked being able to set each post to its own level of privacy. The way it handled threading was better, too; threaded discussions are something extwit, fediverse, and bsky all struggle with.

So, I changed my bio to be less Virtual Business Card/Fact Sheet and more personal, and also because the recent Extwit waves have had at least a couple of people wondering if I am actually me.
I guess still having my Halloween pic up doesn't help there.

Huh. Bsky doesnt do that to me, i have to hit the refresh button. Extwit used to do it all the time tho so i know exactly how annoying that is.
