not sure if this is what you mean but I see kids at our parish with "magnifikid" missalettes sometimes, it's the kids' version of your classic church lady magnificat. it's got all the sunday readings with the order of the mass, vocab explainers, and I think some lil catholic "highlights" style games

"Who would have imagined we would ever hear this from a Labour government"

Lots of people. Just none of us have jobs as professional politics explainers, weirdly.
“on article 8 of the ECHR in particular the right to family life ..we want to constrain in legislation the way that that is applied in immigration cases” Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood tells Sky’s Trevor Philips

This is truly one of the best medicare explainers ever-whether you need it for your self, someone you know probably does. & it is enrollment time now. One of the things that happens w these delays-they can happen w surgeries & other time critical issues-don't have time for all that.

Also doesn't help that this same decade span had youtube videos filled with wall to wall explainers on the most basic shit in a movie that would have made sense to viewers if they largely just paid attention.

Because the YouTube "explainers" don't actually explain much.

It's great for us history/philology heads. Every meeting should start with etymology explainers including about development of the language we're using.
my wokest opinion is that land acknowledgements are fine. people knowing a little bit about the land you're on, even if one isn't invested in a land back project, is not particularly worse than the status quo, even if one comes by this info in a way that is somewhat cringe and forced
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

We have explainers like this for folks who see the movie, see it's a Steven King property, see part of it takes place in the same town as It, and ask themselves "huh, wonder if they cross over" since they technically all do in his book universe.

Highly numerate colleagues of mine say the only way they can get a handle on all the detail is by spending hours on YouTube watching explainers!!
I've watched some and they told me things I could never have gleaned from the website.

I still don’t know how he made his money. It wasn’t selling tax minimization schemes; the explainers can sell that shit somewhere else. Nobody gets to be a billionaire by doing what a competent estate attorney does for $500/hr.
Epstein has been one of the most scrutinized figures in contemporary America, and his crimes among the more notorious.

Democratic Socialism is definitely not communism. But there has long been a raging debate among socialists regarding what it actually is, hence the errors and ambiguities reflected in this and other MSM "explainers." 1/
Some compare Democratic socialism to communism. Here's how the movements differ
While critics have deemed Zohran Mamdani's Democratic socialist beliefs as "communist," historians contend the group has actually built off democratic principles.
