Hi everyone. I ordered a 2023 Vanquish from Digitaka a month ago. When it arrived, it had more handle wiggle/play when compared to the 2024 Twinpower and the 2025 Exsence. I could also feel a slight rattle inside while turning the reel. They sent another one, which was noticeably dry and noisy, could also feel the dryness/raspiness as the handle was coming to a stop. Def not as smooth as first one. They sent another replacement. Again, it has more handle play and you can feel a slight rattle or clicking as you crank the handle. More noticeable while turning

Megabass Destroyer FMJ & Shimano Exsence DCJust came in today, probably will take it out in 30 degree weather tomorrow lol. I couldn't decide on a Steez A2 or the Exsence, happened to have two other reels that weighed the same as the reels I was considering. The Exsence weight felt perfectly balanced so I went with it and I love it. Paired it with 150 yards of 30ib Sufix 131 and Seaguar 20ib Gold Label fluoro for leader. Last addition of rods I really need, so I'll be good for awhile🙂Posted by damascius1

Hi all. First time posting here. Order on 2/5, it got to my house today 2/7 at4pm. That’s pretty good shipping. My first baitcaster reel. It is a 22 Shimano Exsence DC. Pair with 10’6 GLoomis IMX-Pro. Just started fishing last year, after my friend took my squid fishing out here in the Puget sound area. Can not wait for salmon/steelhead season.
