Love this. F355 chassis and running gear, twin turbos, 800bhp, carbon body using moulds taken from a real F40 - Javier Reyna spent ten years in the garage hand-crafting this and it’s superb

Yeah I was wondering like, I could have sworn it was like 300 in the early 2000s.
I'm cruising a ~1999/2000 Walthers PDF now but no Acela set yet. (Although, I did find an F40+3xamfleet set for $163)

I'll do full content someday, but a preview: This is Geoff. Geoff is going to jail for embezzlement and fraud. He used the money to buy that F40, race in Ferrari Challenge, and run 8 body shops while throwing 1500-person C&Cs.

wish I could find more photos of this weird consist, but in the early 90s, Caltrain gallery cars were sent to Southern California to run on the then San Diegan service between LA and SD.
Apparently NOT their cab cars though, so you had a Metroliner cab car at one end and an Amtrak F40 at the other!

Spring Break, circa ‘93, I’m 20.
We go to a ehh strip bar in Honolulu- there’s an old Ferrari F40 out front w/rope around it in jungle rain.
Inside 10mins, DJ-“Monroe to Celebrity 1”
Tall girl, also 20 w/braces walks up short stairs to go sit with- Magnum PI himself, Tom Selleck on a Wed night 😏🤷🏼♂️😋
