Most UPS/FedEx pilots are former fighter pilots with thousands of hours in the cockpit when hired. My cousin flies the Memphis to Anchorage FedEx route. He was a USAF Major who flew in both Iraqi wars. They’re excellent pilots & earn their pay just to get our packages overnight etc.🫡

Fun story: today a FedEx customer service manager yelled at me & hung up on me
FedEx just emailed me to say they have exhausted all their efforts at finding my brand new computer they incorrectly delivered and they have just.... closed the ticket. So what exactly does a person do now? I paid cash for a computer and I'm just.. not going to get it? I'm losing my mind

And Chewy ships FedEx so good luck getting canned food undented. We never got an order without two or three dented cans. Granted those boxes were way too large and under cushioned but FedEx didn’t help at all

Just think, the "plan" was to privatize the post office with UPS and FedEx picking up slack.

That plan certainly already looked like "a choice" and that was before all of this.

I’m officially retired. Ended my work day at 3pm. Packed up my laptop, charging cord, and badge. Took them to the nearest FedEx Office site and used the provided RMA to have them shipped back to my former employer. Had a lovely dinner. Have turned off all my wake-up alarms.
