When we adopted Fenris, he was so anemic that his nose and paws were white. Now they are a healthy pink, as they should be. He's such an orange cat sometimes, but he's our orange cat and we adore him. #FenrisUpdate

The fleas in his coat are not visible, but they were eating him up until we adopted him. His facial expression is a mix of wariness and straight up mischief. He will lean into the mischief right after this photo, because he is an orange cat and that is his way. A doofus of an orange cat is smooshing his face a little too close to the camera. He probably wants to know why he isn't being fed. His nose is pink because he is healthy, free of fleas, well-fed, and pretty much adored despite his propensity to chew on things that should not be chewed on. But he is an orange cat, after all.
