I finally made a ffmpeg static libraries for rtos and also made a ffplay and sdl on freertos application. It works very well without pthread.

STM32 Tutorial #30 - Sine wave (Dual DAC) with DMA under FreeRTOS

In this exciting video we will generate TWO beautiful sine waves on both of the STM32F405 DACs (Digital to Analogue Converters). We will be using DMA and let FreeRTOS handle the scheduling of the callbacks. Sampling rates in […]

I was thinking FreeRTOS and Zephyr aren't powerful enough, while Linux and *BSD are much too big. The L4 microkernel family has a decades-long heritage for serious realtime embedded high-security applications, like the OS running the radio baseband software on the dedicated cores in your smartphone.

So a Cortex-M can run FreeRTOS quite nicely, but not Linux. The problem with thinking of homebrew ideas is the cost of Raspberry Pi and similar are so low that it's hard to figure out how to do something unique that people will pay for.

Better if I focus on software emulation and running in VMs.

Really thinking outside the box. I figure there's SeaBIOS, FreeDOS, and FreeRTOS that all provide interesting 16-bit-friendly code, even though for the first two all the x86 assembly would need to be rewritten as either C or 65C816 assembly. There are two commercial C compilers: WDC's, and ORCA.

100% agree, I *hate* seeing this; if you need real time, use a proper RTOS like FreeRTOS as an example & stop bludgeoning embedded Linux or *shudder* Windows into the job. Windows in embedded though is a complete disaster on all fronts

Tem 2 MB a imagem do flash dele, parece que é um freertos modificadinho, mas deu pra tirar pouca informação útil além disso.

I rarely look back at photos I take digitally, so I thought about buying a digital photo frame — but none of them felt right, so I decided to make my own.

I want to display EXIF and geotag info using a segment LCD below the photo.

デジタルだと写真撮っても見返すことあまりないからデジタルフォトフレーム買おうかなと思ったけど、買いたいと思えるものがなかったから作ることにした

セグメントLCDでEXIFとかジオタグとか表示したい
