If #amdradeon wants to make a strategic play to ensure UDNA/RDNA5 gets good supply, they need to switch back to HBM ala the Vega 56 and Vega 64 days. Regular DDR/GDDR is being deallocated for chip making resources.

TSMC makes the GPU. GDDR and PCB's can be made in China. Assembly at least as recent as last Gen was done in the PRC.

kings of budget PC gaming, because both GPUs are quite powerful. They only really lack in VRam capacity and a little in GDDR data throughput for the 5050 (which would be compensated with larger VRam at lower resolutions).

That said, my driver hacking shenanigans was from a personal project, not something I was paid to do. Found these cheap blade servers shaped like a GPU (ASROCK BC-250). The guts are binned PlayStation 4 APU's with 16GB of shared GDDR memory.

AMD가 차세대 메인스트림 GPU에 GDDR 대신 LPDDR을 사용하기로 결심했다는 건 잘 알려져 있는 이야긴데, 그러다 얘들이 LPDDR을 온다이로 파는게 아니라 LPDDR 슬롯을 뚫어서 팔고, 유저가 LPDDR 램을 끼울 수 있도록 한 다음, GPU 가격은 $250(램 제외)입니다 ^^ 하는 무시무시한 접근을 하는게 아닐까 하는 삿된 생각이 머릿속 한 켠을 스쳐 지나가네요……

コンソールでは勿論PCと動作も重さも調整されてますが、CPUメモリとGPUメモリの区別がなく共用でGDDRメモリが搭載されてます。
（ゲームに特化した作りのためグラフィックはかなりのレベルが出せます）
で強化柱レイドはそれを壊さないとキツい仕様でボスとの戦闘時間も各段に長く、雑魚敵の数も何倍にも膨れ上がりました。
当然メモリ使用量は急上昇。まぁこれだけではまだ問題はありません。
ただブルプロはメモリ管理がだいぶ下手でデータの破棄がうまくいってなかったのです（モンテノールの滝に長く居ると音バグが起きましたね？要はあれ）
