It fits!
It's a little loose, so it needs adjustment, and it's rotated wrong, but I did measure mostly right, and I was correct that the GA-2 adapter is exactly the right length to use as a filter adapter on this camera. This bayonet mount converter will add like a millimeter or so extra clearance
Olympus c-5050 with a 3d printed adapter that converts the 43mm filter thread on its outer lens barrel, which does not telescope out with the lens but rather stays inline with the body, to the bayonet mount profile of a ricoh GRIIIx The Ricoh GA-2 filter adapter attached to the bayonet mount, with a filter on, fitting just right over the extended lens GN-2 ring cap fits in the adapter and makes it look nice too (this is my third party cheap replacement from after I dropped my GR and broke the ring mount cover)

GRⅢx、レンズ保護のためのプロテクターつけるとそこそこ嵩張る（小さめのミラーレスくらいの出っ張りになる）からコンデジケースに入らんのよな。。。。でも砂の多い国に行くのにプロテクターなしはちょっと怖いしな。。

※←以前別の国で一眼レフを盛大に落としてプロテクターが防御を果たしたことがある人

just had an interesting idea. I wonder if I could make an adapter that screws onto the Olympus c-5050's filter threads, and gives it the same bayonet accessory mount the GRIIIx has, offset the right distance to where the GR's filter adapter tube would end up in the right position w lens extended
