Macropgotography with a much simpler set. Micro 4/3 Panasonic Lumix GX85. 45-150 Lumix lens. Rynox M-250 close-up lens. "Mini" Godox TT-350 S. Not very sharp, but it is fairly ok for unstacked macropgotography.

New camera, Lumix GX85 mirrorless. Ditched the heavy dSLR for something lighter and much easier to use. Foliose lichen 12-60mm (X2 cf 35mm equv. 24-120mm) with Canon 2.5 Close up lens @ 50mm. Foliose lichen, not sure of species.

@bosak Thanks. Yes, I used the Micro 4/3 (Panasonic GX85, 16 megapixel, with a Canon FL macro lens). Because on the anti-aliasing in the camera, images are blurry out of the camera, but a small amount of Gaussian unsharp mask seems to reverse that. For screen resolution, I’m ok with it.

I've found MPB, KEH and Adorama to be very trustworthy in how they represent their used gear - when they say wear is cosmetic, they mean it, and it's a great way to save $$ on camera equipment. If you get the GX85 you will want some extra batteries because they can be wimpy, but those are cheap

An older model pana or olympus micro four thirds might fit the bill. A GX85 should do everything you want it to do, without being too finicky or spendy: www.mpb.com/en-us/produc...
