There is Palestinian, Qatari, Egyptian, Saudi, Turkish agreement, and even Norway was part of the discussions. Everyone agrees on four main points.” The points: 1. The stabilization force must not be an executive force controlling Gaza by arms or disarming the resistance. Rather, it must be a peacekeeping force positioned between Palestinians and Israelis, entering areas Israel currently occupies in order to facilitate Israel’s gradual withdrawal. 2. PIJ’s chief negotiator, Dr. Mohammad al-Hindi — a pediatric surgeon and co-founder of the movement — told Scahill they will not hand weapons to Trump’s “Board of Peace” or submit to foreign rule and occupation. “But the appearance of weapons or the use of weapons — this is something that can be discussed.” Al-Hindi describes a scenario where weapons are stored, training sites disappear, fighters withdraw from the streets, and Palestinian police alone secure the streets. Hamas’s Mousa Abu Marzouk likewise told Drop Site they would welcome this as part of a long-term, internationally monitored ceasefire — but will not entertain disarmament during a genocide. National liberation requires the ability to defend Palestinian lives. Grim and Scahill also highlighted al-Hindi’s point that Gaza’s weapons that most threaten Israel — homemade RPGs — are built from Israel’s own unexploded ordnance saturating Gaza after two years of carpet bombing. Even if every launcher were seized, fighters could “reproduce them very quickly.” For the resistance, this is not a threat. It shows why forced disarmament cannot deliver security for Israel unless the political question is resolved. Scahill also asked negotiators about Steve Witkoff’s claim that Hamas agreed in a face-to-face meeting to hand over all weapons. Their response: “We have no idea what he’s talking about. We said nothing of the sort.”

Le 19 novembre, 27 palestiniens ont été assassinés dans l'attaque la plus meurtrière depuis le début de la trêve. L'Etat sioniste continue de bombarder activement Gaza, tout comme il bombarde continuellement le Sud du Liban, malgré la sianature d'un autre cessez le feu le 27 novembre 2024. à l'issue de la « guerre des 66 jours ». Le 18 novembre dernier, le camp de réfugiés palestiniens d'Aïn El-Héloué à Saida au Liban. a été bombardé, faisant 13 morts et des dizaines de blessés. La cible était un centre de football. tuant essentiellement des enfants et jeunes joueurs du club. Dans le même temps, l'entité soniste continue d'occuper le Sud Liban, une partie de la Syrie, et poursuit son expansion coloniale en Cisjordanie. En parallèle, I'ONU vient de valider le « plan Trump », permettant ainsi une nouvelle occupation militaire de Gaza par les Etats Unis et les régimes arabes alliés à Israël. Le « plan de paix » des américains, qui cherche à imposer le désarmement de la résistance palestinienne, et l'expulsion des combattants vers l'Egypte, entérine la cession d'une partie de la bande de Gaza à l'État israélien (sous couvert d'une zone tampon occupée par Tsahal), et permet ainsi un passage de relais entre l'armée israélienne et les forces internationales impérialistes. Ce au'on demande ici aux gazaouis, c'est d'accepter de se faire massacrer sans riposte, mais cette fois par d'autres forces militaires, alliées à Israël Dans ce cadre, la France s'inscrit dans la continuité de sa complicité historique avec la dépossession et le génocide du peuple palestinien. La France se dit prête à déployer des militaires à Gaza, aux côtés des forces américaines. Elle continue de livrer des armes à Israël, et dans le même temps, elle réprime les mobilisations pour la Palestine en France, comme l'illustre l'arrestation récente d'Omar Alsoumi, porte-parole d'Urgence Palestine, poursuivi pour « apologie du terrorisme » (devenu le chef d'inculpation systématique pour quiconque se mobilise contre le génocide en Palestine).

Hamas's media officer at the Martyrs and Prisoners Office, Nahed Al-Fakhoury, also said that Israel is manipulating the file of forcibly disappeared prisoners. Fakhoury said the delay in announcing the list of prisoners was a deliberate move to create division. Israel stipulated that it should hand over a list of the names of the prisoners it was holding in the early days of the agreement, but later stalled this and manipulated a number of names, Fakhoury told Al Jazeera. He said that Israel acknowledged the existence of prisoners in its possession, and then retracted them, without providing clear answers regarding the retraction.”

The statement rejects the Security Council resolution — “deeming it a tool of Israeli control and complicity in the genocide” of the Palestinian people — and condemns the effective “trusteeship” the plan creates, saying it violates Palestinians’ right to self-determination. Scahill says resistance leaders he interviewed this week were open to an international force, but not to Term 7, which requires that force to work with Israel to demilitarize Gaza. As he puts it: “This international force, now endorsed by the UN, is going to include the involvement of Israel in the disarmament of the very people it has been trying to annihilate from this world.”
