As of evening, most protestors have left the area around the Georgian parliament. Maybe 100 or 200 still camp out, still blocking a main road. After the low turnout of protestors yesterday and today, they seem to fight a losing battle though. #GeVote2024 #GeorgianElections #GeorgianProtest

As of evening, most protestors have left the area around the Georgian parliament. Maybe 100 or 200 still camp out, still blocking a main road. After the low turnout of protestors yesterday and today, they seem to fight a losing battle though. #GeVote2024 #GeorgianElections #GeorgianProtest
As #Georgia 's new parliament is convening for the first time, protestors around the parliament decrying #election fraud number at the very most a very few thousands and probably less -- far too few to put any serious pressure on the government.

It happened - overly aggressive police and special forces have forcefully cleared the demonstrators camp in the center of Tbilisi, indiscrimately mandhandling and teargassing women and youth.
