I don't think I'm the biggest fan of the battles in this game. It became nighttime and a battle zone popped and I went BUT I DON'T WANNAAA.
Alphas seem extra scary this time around too. This spinarak had 5 babies. I would've been cooked if it didn't turn to daytime lol #GreyInLumiose

The battles havent "clicked" yet either. I feel like I'm getting jumped more times than I should & the cool downs always feel 2 seconds too long. I know they want me to do positioning but they're over so fast. I find The Spot, it's over. It's better than I thought, but I don't love it #GreyInLumiose

I heard the sound while I was surrounded by flabebe and floette like ??? And had the "sun is going down" message. I know shinies SHOULD transfer between the time change but I could find this fucker and didn't know if that'll count 😭 God. He's -atk so you're just a pretty bird #GreyInLumiose

I like the implications of living in the world of Pokemon and just. Not knowing the term Pokemon Trainers exist. I feel like that's something you just kinda observe if you lived in their world

Like if they want to use Xenoblade as a base they need to take a bit more from Xenoblade
But overall it was a fun first day! I liked exploring more than I thought I would and the characters / story has potential. Gonna take it leisurely but looking forward to what's ahead #GreyInLumiose

I'm so torn treating this like Arceus and treating this like a standard mainline title. I don't feel like I need to catch 5 versions of the same mon this time, at least not yet, but I do feel compelled to catch everything at least once #GreyInLumiose
