Congratulations Ronni, it’s honestly one of my best ever books. It’s not often that reading a book can transport me back to my little home town, a town that was so much like Gunnawah. ❤️

Ahem
Today my debut novel #Gunnawah officially became the Number 1 best seller
That means I'll get a private jet, and a 10 year supply of Grey Goose and Tim Tams, and a marching team of cartwheeling dachshunds and . . . . .
(I'll just get a red sticker on the front cover 😎)

This is hilarious. I'm writing my Gunnawah sequel and we're in early Jan 1975, and Adelaide goes to a sporting match and there's a bit of a Mean Girls scene where somebody calls the other one the "Head of the Moll Patrol"
I only wrote that this morning, so screeched laughing at your comment

I have just finished reading Gunnawah by @ronnisalt.bsky.social and as a teenager living in the 1970s from a small town of almost a thousand, living on Wiradjuri land, the characters are authentic and the whole ethos of small-town Australia rings true. Highly recommend.

I'm at the library and thought I would check how Gunnawah is going 🙂 librarian recommended putting a hold on the book because there's still a wait list 🥰

Was going to link to your website: gunnawah.com.au
but it seems to be playing up. :|
My crit: Gunnawah suffers a little stylistically for being a first novel, but the plot is great, the vibe is spot on, & it's a real page-turner.
Highly recommended!
