Eijirou grabs the utility knife off his belt and continues fighting.
He's horrendously tired, his stomach hurts with the need to eat, and his head is pounding. There's a part of him that knows it's from the link. It's been a long time and he's stressed out. Hatsume is probably losing her mind.

The Link Unit opens up and he's greeted with the view of the laboratory's ceiling. Beside him is Hatsume who takes off the secondary casing around him, and helps him sit up.
"Easy there, first link is hard, can't imagine how hard without practice," she soothes and hands him a water bottle.

The soft blue lighting cradles him just as softly as the gel below. Sound is muffled but he can hear Midoriya and Hatsume muttering and calling out numbers. A couple more seconds pass before he feels what Midoriya warned him to look out for.

Hatsume calibrates them as the two specialists enter and lay in the bed. A wired bodice encases them before the lids shut entirely. Something whirs up before it goes silent, and Hatsume seems pleased as she retreats to the command center.
