We introduce FicSim, a dataset of 90 recently written long-form fanfics from Archive of Our Own. We *reach out to the authors for permission* to use each work and prioritize continual, informed author consent. Fics range in length from 10K to 400K+ words.
Histogram of story length, ranging from 10 thousand to over 400 thousand words. Most stories are between 10 to 90 thousand words.

Most samples cluster at low concentrations, creating a right-skewed distribution with a long tail extending to very high values. Three vertical lines mark important regulatory levels. The blue dashed line is labeled The 90th percentile after excluding two high outliers, the black dashed line is labeled The EPA's lead action level, and the red dashed line is labeled The original 90th percentile before exclusions. Two samples shown in red were excluded from the official calculations, one at 20 ppb and another at 104 ppb.

Higher education has some work to do on climate action. We found that the median reduction in direct (Scope 1) emissions is only ~9% - with over a third of U.S. colleges and universities actually reporting Scope 1 emissions higher than in their baseline year.

I think I'm about done for now with studying the properties of the causal metric. The distribution of tokens is really interesting. There's a clear shell structure as one would expect in 2560D, but it's way thicker than random vectors would be. The core goes from 30 all the way out to 65 logometers.

But that's a countrywide average, that's not how people in their constituency (=district in the US) vote.
The winning candidate usually gets >40% of the vote in their constituency. See below an example from the last election for the Labour Party.

Those five largest producers are at the far-right end of the distribution of pepper plants in this population.

Turns out "<|endoftext|>", "\n" and "\u200b\u200b" (zero-width space twice) are all good quasar candidates way out at 30 logometers past the shell. They're almost orthogonal as well, separated by pretty close to 90°, which makes sense, though newline and endoftext have some covariance.

In a reach-to-grasp task, forest mice perform better and use a more complex top-down grasp rather than a scooping motion.

Their cortex activity also differs: we recorded from M1/M2 during reaching and found a temporal shift in M2 activity (specifically) towards the time of the grasp in forest mice
