#Idiocy
Such a dumb statement. How would that even work?
Obviously, it was never anything but empty rhetoric but ... just STFU with that idiocy, you're supposed to be the governor of a major state.

KC Star: "Mann believes...rural voters [contra Thomas Frank] have defined their self-interest clearly and know precisely what they are doing when entering the voting booth."

Also true. But horrifying. Their self interest is rage and resentment, driven by idiocy. But that's Wrong and Bad to observe.

It’s honestly so disheartening that people on the left continue to succumb to RFK Jr.’s idiocy.

I still take medium-term solace in the idiocy of the people in charge of the US right now. They’re unpopular, they don’t seem to care how unpopular they become, and they don’t have enough control to stop having elections. (They’d need total support from the military, I think, and they don’t have it)

Any time some stupid asshole centrist Democrat talks about bipartisanship, they should be forced to explain how this idiocy isn't disqualifying.
Yes this is a real tweet. Governor Abbott is either insufferably ignorant or hopes his MAGA base is. Governors cannot impose tariffs on Americans moving about in the USA. This is specifically banned by:
•Article I, Section 2
•Article IV, Section 2
•14th Amendment

Texas ranks 41st in Education smh

Idiocy disguised as parrhesia — a case study in the abysmal failure that is institutionalized journalism (in its present rump form) in the US
Thread: Look I know it's easier cognitively to just have good guys and villains, but a lot of you folks are just not dealing in facts. Andrew Cuomo was a centrist, sure, and he fought a lot with Democrats. But he also pushed some of the most progressive state policies of his era. A partial list. 1/

I just read your newsletter - holy guacamole, thank you so much for your service, honestly, at pushing back against this incredibly sadly lazy antiknowledge anti-obvious-facts idiocy. And, my thanks also to Amy as well. You're both fighting the noble fight 🙏

I BLAME Trump and the GOP for the state of our economy! Trump came into office with a VITAL ECONOMY but thanks to his idiocy we are TANKING! Trump IS RESPONSIBLE!
Good. Keep hammering the oligarchs and their Gatsby party. New polling out today shows 72% say the economy is in bad shape, and 61% blame Trump.
Pelosi: November 1, when people would start losing their snap benefits and what did the president do? He had a great gatsby party at mar-a-lago.

So what you meant to say was that Harris got scorched by uninformed people who listened to Republican takes on how "bad" the economy was?

If so, I agree. But that wasn't what I read. Perhaps I missed something.

The common denominator of idiotic voting is...idiocy. Right, Left, Center.

How would that even work? Lmfao.

These people are insane. They're using tariffs like some sort of punishment mechanism? Do they even fully understand what they are? Of course they do, it is their base who doesn't understand, which is why they're engaging in open acts of idiocy. My goodness lmao.
They’ve all gone mad.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott: “After the polls close tomorrow night, I will impose a 100% tariff on anyone moving to Texas from NYC.”
