#Instincts
Driving home and heard a local radio dj talking about how wonderful it is the shutdown is over.

Trump just got a yuge victory right before every family in America gets together to talk about this stuff and Chuck Schumer has the political instincts of one of those lemmings from a Disney documentary.

Ugh I had honestly forgotten just how good this kid is, his instincts are second to none and I stg I’ve never had to tell him to have a look because he is always scanning naturally. Just have to make him do keepy uppies and we’re away

What incredible political instincts this dude has had his entire career

kyouji somehow charming the infant instantly while satomi was only getting screams and wails would be a classic... or baby satomi being self-aware inside but unable to express it or fight against his instincts telling him to snuggle into kyouji

K-Hive continues to have the worst political instincts in America

"If Republicans threaten SNAP, let them do whatever they want." That is the message sent. It is technically true that the government won't shut down if you gift Republicans a de facto supermajority, but you see how that's bad, right?

Even I know I’m not fine.

But my contrarian instincts tend to make me unpopular but at least less likely to ride along with the mob / the delusional / the CW.

To be something you have to exist on a level beyond The reptilian survivalist instincts I would actually take a lizard over a human, so that's unfair I believe, but still. To believe in anything requires you to have some motivation beyond causing pain and avoiding jail. Do better than a sea slug.

AND Nate Silver & Jon Chait.

Amazing how (in this case) the pundits have better political instincts than Senate Dems lol.

Always. I mean always,
listen to your gut instincts.
They're the first distress call signal.

I'm not much for electorialism but I think we should all take a moment today and call our senators and tell them we think they're losers with the political instincts of a wad of cotton candy in the rain.

They can't even save face by pretending it's to help people hurt by the shutdown. That would take political instincts something they all lack

'"Donald Trump has genius real estate instincts," says Irving Fischer'

Thing one: Irving FisHER (no C) is a (well-regarded) noted economist that died in 1947

Thing two: Irving FisCher (yes C) is "chairman of HRH Construction, and Trump's main builder".

Coincidence.. or fake name? *spooky music*

Leaf blowers don’t have a schedule. They seem to have instincts. And those instincts tell them to fire up at the exact moment you’re trying to relax, meditate, or have a deep emotional breakthrough.

My present life is Kendrick Lamar
A rapper looking at the lyrics to keep you in awe
The only factor I respected was raisin' the bar
My instincts sent material straight to the charts, huh

Thought it might be surging on UHC etc stock considering the outlook for the ACA but no, this seems to mostly just be a correction after people panicked last week because of that Michael Burry filing because the market is driven by men with the memories of goldfish and none of the survival instincts

Same with Sinema. She got all the smoke (deservedly), but nobody clocked Schumer *hand picked* her to run for Senate.
We're a long way past him having bad political instincts or strategies as an excuse.
This is why “oh you can’t blame the Dems for Manchin” never carried water with me.
The thing @schumer.senate.gov appears to be doing where he gets everybody who’s retiring or was just sworn in to a six-year term to vote yes so he and a bunch more moderates can vote “no” to appear more progressive than they are is so insulting lol
November 10, 2025 at 5:08 PM
It works for Dems too. AOC, Mamdani, etc. have shown how populism can beat entrenched institutionalism.

It may run counter to people’s emotional instincts, but getting closer and more involved is really all it takes./end

I forgot that Shirou also was part of the Clock Tower for a while

But also, imagine it form Shirou's POV... he just left three massive butterballs in Fuyuki only to go to Clock Tower and discover one incredibly fattenable nerdy boy

His feeder instincts are going to kick in so hard
