Last week, on the occasion of #WorldCancerDay, we were at the projets showcase event organised by the @ec.europa.eu. We were representing @sciensano.bsky.social and the many European projects in which we are involved, such as: #JAPreventNCD, or #eCAN+ Victoria Leclerq and Robbe Saesen

Nearly one year into the #EU4Health project #PEACHD, and going strong! Next week we're strengthening synergies with the EU Joint Action #JAPreventNCD, and visiting the Polish pilot sites run by #Caritas where the project will promote health with Ukrainian refugee communities. Watch this space!

The next day, our team took part in “Health in Europe: Joint Actions, Joint Future” in Odense. We contributed to exchanges on sustainability and cooperation across Joint Actions, including @ecanplus.bsky.social Plus, JA-ORION and JAPreventNCD. #EU4Health

I missed Ilona but great presentations from @carocostongs.bsky.social on standing up for health rights & against #CDoH (building bridges is not always the best way!!) & Jennie Popay on the need to focus on power dynamics & avoid lifestyle drift / focus on behaviour.
