Nothing much...just pushing JAERO/SDRReceiver. 26 instances of JAERO: all 600, 1200, 10500 bps channels on Alphasat and couple of 8400 bps voice channels on top... Nice!

This is HUUUGE improvement from the old, Virtual Audio Cable based setup! Thanks to Jonti in downunder for JAERO, Jeroen for SDRReceiver and TheBaldGeek for writing down the instructions (https://thebaldgeek.github.io/SDRReceiver.html)
How to use SDRReceiver to send data to Jaero.
Rough notes on how to go about setting up the hardware and software for ACARS decoding.

JAERO TIME!!! Times 14! Managed to install the new version JAERO (for now on my laptop) and its new companion SDRReceiver (my Linux receiver PC). Last one was full of work to install into Ubuntu, because of distro-upgrades and whatnot... https://jontio.zapto.org/hda1/jaero.html

🌻🦂strange idea BUT how about-- lets call them "poison duo"
their interactions r based on my AU, but I think its interesting
.... especially considering that there is woefully little content on both characters at this stage

Refueling happens almost every night around KC, but tonight I'm also following that flight via their ACARS traffic, thanks to @thebaldgeek.bsky.social and his amazing feeds!

So, the SDRReceiver runs in my Ubuntu box and shares the RTL dongle over the network. On Windows (or Linux) machine you can open several instances on JAERO (14 in my case)and each of them connects certain frequency from SDRReceiver. Over the network!!!

Disable plane logging in each Jaero.
The basestation.db it comes with is woefully out of date and the longer Jaero logs, the slower it gets, you want to ID your aircraft with a more updated DB (A rant for another time) and you don't want your Jaeros slowing down decoding for any reason.

Right now my rough mapping source list is:
#ACARS (PoA)
#dumpvdl
#satcom x 2. #Basestation Jaero and satcom ACARS with lat/lon
#dumphfdl
#Node-RED (assorted stuff with lat/lon - Iridium for example)
Primary goal is either one map with civil and military layers or two URLs.
