I'm more of a 2d combat person, but even that is frustrating. There are some really good fights (final boss, for instance) but others are just very taxing and awkward to perform (Jiequan, Fuxi and Nuwa's second phase)

Animal Well was the best release I played on the year itself, but two months later I played Nine Sols and that has confortable stood as my personal 2024 GOTY. Gorgeous game that makes you feel like you are going to live a fruitful life but NO YOU DON'T HERE COMES JIEQUAN THE WARRIOR

I would've loved an option to disable but spare some of foes you fight in Nine Sols. I'm just not very motivated to kill a farmer who wants to feed everyone or an old man. Jiequan, on the other hand...
