There is one key difference, unlike real life, the characters in KOKOTÖNA don't get to overthrow their "gods"
They only get to choose how they suffer, and MAYBE, if they're smart, they get to steal a spark of glory or protect a companion before their death

We sadly don't know exactly how the real patolli (the game this oracle is based on) was played or used.
However, there is some evidence that it was both a gambling game and a divination system. This solo-play oracle for KOKOTÖNA is based on some reconstructed rules I modified to be used with dice.
