#KittyHawk
Ojalá verlos pronto, pero a mí me recuerdan a Kittyhawk xD

Y mejor, porque todo el rollo Windmill me tiene ya aburrido.

Por cierto, el título del EP está mal escrito en el artículo xD

Crocodile is already looking so elegant and refined and meanwhile kittyhawk is such a CREATURE. His design is so perfect.

I want to feed both of them treats and pet them gently.

By 1942 the Kittyhawk, P-40D replaced the Tomahawk P-40C, and while it was a disappointment in terms of being able to deal with the Bf109F-4, it enabled fighter bomber missions at scale and with meaningful payload. While the Hurricane I had pioneered this, its payload of just 160lb was insufficient.

Background Having purchased some of the RAF Squadron ORBs, I thought it might be interesting to type up what life at the sharp end was like for members of RAF Aircrew. The quotes below are from the…

Curtiss Kittyhawk Mark IV of No. 450 Squadron RAAF in a dispersal at Cutella, Italy, armed with a 1,000-lb and two 500-lb bombs. The unit continued to operate their P-40s into 1945, when a planned conversion to Mustangs was halted by the end of the war.

P-40s were critical to the North African campaign, both as fighters and, increasingly, as fighter-bombers. Here, a Kittyhawk Mark I of 112 Squadron is being guided by a member of groundcrew while taxiing.

October 14th, 1938. First flight of the Curtiss-Wright XP-40, prototype of the P-40 Warhawk. Known in British/Dominion/Empire and Soviet service as the Tomahawk or Kittyhawk (depending on variant) the P-40 saw extensive service on all fronts, particularly in the early war years.

Happy 250th Birthday Navy! It was my honor and pleasure to serve in the World's Greatest Navy. Here's to the four ships I called home: USS Juneau (LPD-10); Kittyhawk(CV-63): Belleauwood (LHA-3); & Tarawa (LHA-1). No room for all the duty stations! Fair Winds & Following Seas!

Everyone on a ship had roles & training for combat. But mess attendants were not “shoulder to shoulder with trained gunners. Unlike Dorrie Miller’s response at Pearl Harbor, most did not overstep. For a story of “shoulder to shoulder” in the integrated navy, read about the USS Kittyhawk.

Loving this one - a Kittyhawk and what could be an island in the Pacific. Is it depicting any particular story? I know of a few cases that it could relate to.

These were all done in Procreate for iPad with Apple Pencil (the Kittyhawk one was started in Rebelle and finished in Procreate). I have a number of earlier ones done in Tayasui Sketches but am not so happy with those any more, partly because Sketches is not as capable but mostly I've improved

Any cosplayer ever considered the problems associated with certain characters?
When I cosplay Sparking Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, I need to consider the lecherous Loki. 😱
Seems like Yuuki doesn't mind showing me the ropes.

My husband had to stand on the deck of the kittyhawk for hours one time, saluting in dress whites while they filmed a recruitment video set to the song "God Bless the USA". He said it sucked a lot.
